24th May, ‘World Schizophrenia Day’ was celebrated by Shanti Nursing Home and Schizophrenia Swasthya Ani Punarvasan Pratisthan (SSPP) on Friday evening.
Renowned Psychiatrist Dr. Vidyadhar Watve was the Chief Guest for the programme. He shed light on various aspects of the disease, Schizophrenia. He gave the motto ‘Be Aware and Make Aware’ for spreading awareness about Schizophrenia in society.
This was followed by experiences shared by the patients.
Almost 350 people attended the programme.
