- Creating best facilities for diagnosis and treatment of mental illness.
- Increasing awareness about psychiatry with the help of mass media and focus is also on reducing the stigma attached to mental illness.
- Develop separate departments with necessary infrastructure such as Mind Training Centre, Child Guidance Centre, ECT department etc.
- Making psychiatry teaching available at all levels and for different courses.
- Good clinical research which will be practically useful.
We are already working on vision but miles to go….
